Configure AutoPosting

You can automatically post journal batches that meet specific criteria defined in an AutoPost Criteria Set. Once you define an AutoPost Criteria Set, run the AutoPost function to post any journal batches that meet the criteria defined by the criteria set.

How to Configure AutoPosting

On the Home screen, click General Accounting and select Journals.

On the right of the Journals screen, click the Task icon and select Run AutoPost.
 
The AutoPost Journals screen displays.

On the AutoPost Journals screen, enter the following optional information:
  • Notify me when process ends:  Click to be notified.
  • Submission Notes:  Enter any notes needed for the submission.

Click the AutoPost Criteria Set arrow to see the list.
 
Select the set from the list.

When the screen is configured, click Submit at the top of the screen.

A Confirmation window displays.  Click OK.  
If the Notify me was selected, you receive an emailed notification.

The AutoPost Journals screen closes and the Journals Dashboard displays.
 
Scroll to the Process Monitor and click the Refresh to see the AutoPost Journals process.

Open the Manage Journals screen and search for posted journal batches to verify posted data.
